Conor’s got a really good way with words. He literally is like ‘yeah I’m struggling’ and like within an hour pretty much the entire song… he’d written it. Just the way he came up with the words was like pretty amazing to watch. It was just me and him drinking beers in the airplane and he was just like ‘hold on’ and then he’d kind of sit there and he’d read it back and I’d be like yeah, what?! You know, to me words are the hardest thing. That’s just like… his gift, man.
